Sušárna se skládá ze dvou dílčích částí, a to sušárny samotné a jednotky pro dávkování, dopravu a vytlačování čistírenského kalu. Byla zvolena koncepce pásové sušárny s proudícím vzduchem, kde byl použit děrovaný pás, který byl podroben testování na přilnavost a zanášení ok kalem a obtížnost čištění.

The dryer consists of two parts, namely the dryer itself and the unit for dosing, transport and extrusion of sewage sludge. The concept of a belt dryer with flowing air was chosen, where a perforated belt was used, which was subjected to testing for adhesion and clogging of the sludge and the difficulty of cleaning.
