Original Abstract

This paper describes the design, analysis of properties and fabrication of a tri-band antenna for a small robotic vehicle. The E-shaped tri-band antenna was chosen for its simplicity, practicality and universality. The design of the tri-band antenna and the simulation of its properties were implemented in the Matlab programming environment using the Antenna Toolbox extension. The designed tri-band antenna was fabricated, its properties were measured and the measured results are compared with the simulations for subsequent analysis.
