Original Abstract

Příspěvek se zabývá problematikou matematické terminologie v anglickém jazyce. Při mnoha příležitostech se totiž ukazuje, že nedostatečná orientace studentů v matematické terminologii v angličtině podstatnou měrou ovlivňuje mj. jejich práci s matematickými výukovými programy, jako je např. Maple nebo MATLAB. V příspěvku se nabízí jedno z možných efektivních řešení této situace.

English abstract

The contribution deals with the issue of mathematical terminology in English. Weak knowledge of mathematical terminology in English among students not only prevents them from using all possibilities of mathematical software but often also forms students' negative attitude towards the software. The contribution suggests a solution to this problem.
