KOLÍBAL, M.; MUSÁLEK, T.; BUKVIŠOVÁ, K.; NOVÁK, L.

Original Title

In-situ SEM reactor for synthesis of battery materials

English Title

In-situ SEM reactor for synthesis of battery materials

Type

Functioning sample

Abstract

The reactor design is intended to mimic the chemical vapor transport (CVT) reaction inside scanning electron microscope (SEM). CVT is the most utilized approach towards preparation of quantum nanoscale materials, including those for energy harvesting and storage. This document describes the design of a functional sample, which is capable of deposition reaction during SEM imaging (in-situ approach). The sample/prototype has been tested with regards to temperature, pressure and imaging requirements of the processes utilized in this project.
