Abstract

The safety vacuum control system for CNC machines communicates with the Horizon CNC software. The System allows operators to monitor and control vacuum pressure in real time during the production process. The system uses sensors to continuously monitor the vacuum in different parts of the CNC machine's workspace. Actual vacuum values are monitored by the software, which then displays this data on a monitor. The monitor displays the vacuum data for each part of the workspace, both as a graphical layout, allowing operators to determine exactly what vacuum is present at specific locations, and numerically. An important feature of this system is the ability to define predetermined values for the vacuum. If the actual vacuum values deviate from these defined parameters, the system can automatically trigger visual warnings on the monitor and/or audible alerts. In cases of serious deviations from normal vacuum values, the system is able to automatically stop the operation of the CNC machine. This protects the machine, the material, and the operator from potential risks that could arise due to insufficient vacuum.
