Abstract

The device for automatic detection of glass fiber defects in structured arrays is a technological system that has been developed to identify and analyze defects and flaws in the arrangement of glass fibers. This technology is often used in industrial and manufacturing processes where it is crucial to ensure high quality and reliability of products that contain glass fibres, including composite materials and optical fibres. The main purpose of this equipment is to perform optical sensing of glass fibres, analyse their image and identify defects and irregularities. This analysis includes the detection of cracks, damaged or broken fibres and other defects. The system operates automatically and continuously, eliminating human supervision and ensuring consistent inspection. Evaluation is performed using custom-developed software.
