Original Abstract

This paper deals with possible application of automotive alternator as electronic commutation motor. The Alternator is a common equipment of the all today automobiles. The requirement of one equipment works as a starter motor and alternator in automotive leads to application automotive alternator as EC motor. This contribution is dedicated to the study of application of classical claw-pole automobile alternator with a three-phase output winding on the stator as EC motor without any construction modification. Basic difference between common EC motor and alternator as EC motor is in a claw-pole rotor.
