Original Abstract

The paper presents the use of electric vehicle charging stations for frequency control in the network emergency state (when the frequency drops below 49.8 Hz) to prevent the frequency from falling further to the critical value of 49 Hz (operation of underfrequency load shedding). It compares three different frequency responses using the simplified twenty areas dynamic models.
