Original Abstract

Density of refractories significantly affects their properties in terms of both their physical and mechanical properties, and corrosion resistance in general. The increase in utility properties, especially resistance to corrosion, is possible not only through the use of appropriate raw material composition but also by attaining lower porosity and higher density refractory material, which reduces the infiltration of unwanted elements into the structure of the refractory material
