Software pro kategorizaci VIS spekter inkoustů v podobě webové aplikace umožňuje na základě VIS spekter inkoustů analyzovat a vzájemně porovnávat spektrogramy získané z textů psanými neznámými psacími prostředky, resp. neznámými inkousty. Psacím prostředkem se rozumí například kuličkové pero, gelové či plnicí pero, ale také rollery a linery konkrétní značky a konkrétní barvy a typu inkoustu.
