Original Abstract

Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) can be used as modern and green-way alternative to the use of conventional fertilizers, due to its possitive effects on plant growth stimulation. PGPR encapsulated in gel matrix are applied into soil, which improve their survivibility and long-term use. In our study we focused on the preparation of these types of inoculants by using microorganism´s ability to produce alginate and subsequently form gels with incorporated bacteria.
