Prezentovaná databáze značených cihel obsahuje značené cihly, použité na území České republiky od počátku užívání cihel po 20. století. Tato databáze by měla umožnit prezentaci doposud zjištěných značených cihel jak ze sbírek institucí, tak soukromých sběratelů. Cílem je v budoucnu vytvoření co nejkomplexnějšího přehledu dosud objevených značení cihel, pokrývajících území celé České republiky, a současně v ideálním případě umožnit přiřazení jednotlivých značek konkrétní cihelně, jejímu majiteli, nájemci či provozovateli. Po zvolení výběrových kritérií se nalezené položky z databáze zobrazí v podobě tabulky, na jejímž počátku je evidenční číslo cihly v databázi (ID), případně v závorce evidenční číslo v databázi majitele, dále miniatura perokresby dané cihly, a následně základní údaje. Po zakliknutí symbolu lupy na pravém konci řádku každé cihly se zobrazí stránka, věnovaná dané cihle s fotografií a kompletními údaji, vhodná i pro tisk.

The presented database of marked bricks contains marked bricks used in the Czech Republic from the beginning of the use of bricks up to the 20th century. This database introduces a way to present marked bricks found so far from the collections of institutions and private collectors. Our aim is to create an overview of the brick markings discovered so far that would be as comprehensive as possible, covering the entire territory of the Czech Republic, and at the same time, if possible, to enable matching individual markings with a specific brickworks, its owner, tenant or operator. After selecting the search criteria, the found items from the database are displayed in the form of a table, at the beginning of which is the registration number of the brick in the database (ID), in some cases accompanied by a registration number in the owner's database listed in parentheses. The ID is then followed by a thumbnail of a pen drawing of the brick and basic data regarding it. After clicking the magnifying glass symbol on the right end of the row of each brick, a page dedicated to the brick with a photograph and complete data will be displayed, also suitable for printing.
