Konstrukce vyjímatelného košíku s příslušnou matriční formou byla vyvinuta z důvodu zásahů do zelené střešní konstrukce v případech kontroly a výzkumu jednotlivých vrstev střešní konstrukce při působení klimatických vlivů za určité období. Košík tedy obecně slouží k vyjmutí části střešní konstrukce a jejich jednotlivých vrstev bez primární hydroizolační vrstvy, která nesmí být porušena výřezem košíku. V košíku pak lze zkoumat prorůstání kořenů směrem svislým i vodorovný a zejména pak stav jednotlivých vrstev, degradace izolačních materiálů, stav zeminy a její nasycenost vodou. Celý košík pak lze přemístit například do laboratoře a po provedení potřebných testu opět bez problému vrátit na původní místo. Vyvarujeme se tím zbytečných invazivních zásahů do skladby a tak i možnému poškození konstrukce. Vyjmutý segment po vrácení bude opět plnit funkci jako standardní skladba dané střechy. Takovýto segment střechy se může používat také na zakrytí prostor střechy, které nemají požadavek na prosvětlení či odvzdušnění (revizní šachty, atd.). Opět zde bude možnost segment vyjmout, provést danou údržbu či opravu a následně vrátit zpět.

The construction of a removable basket with the appropriate matrix form was developed due to interventions in the green roof structure in cases of inspection and research of individual layers of the roof structure under the influence of climatic influences for a certain period. Thus, the basket generally serves to remove a part of the roof structure and its individual layers without the primary waterproofing layer, which must not be broken by the cut-out of the basket. In the basket, it is then possible to examine the growth of roots vertically and horizontally, and especially the condition of individual layers, the degradation of insulation materials, the condition of the soil and its water saturation. The entire basket can then be moved to the laboratory, for example, and returned to its original location without any problems after performing the necessary tests. This avoids unnecessary invasive interventions in the composition and thus possible damage to the structure. The returned segment will return to the function of the standard composition of the given roof upon return. Such a roof segment can also be used to cover roof areas that do not require lighting or venting (inspection shafts, etc.). Again, there will be an option to remove the segment, perform the maintenance or repair, and then return it.
