Original Abstract

This paper presents an architecture of network monitoring adapterintended for 10Gbps technology. The proposed adapter allows producingof statistics of input data flows, sampling of packets with requiredproperties, and payload checking of specific patterns. The architectureis designed for platform FPGA and it is composed of several cooperatingapplication specific nano-processors.  As a preliminaryimplementation, 1Gbps version of monitoring adapter is presented.
