Original Abstract

Prudký rozvoj nanotechnologií v posledních letech vyvolává čím dál častěji otázky týkající se jejich bezpečnosti. Vedle nesporně pozitivního významu může však docházet i k negativním vlivům na zdraví člověka i životní prostředí. Příspěvek seznamuje se stávajícím stavem v této oblasti a upozorňuje na nezbytnost sjednocení postupů pro hodnocení rizik a zajištění bezpečnosti nanomateriálů po celý jejich životní cyklus.

English abstract

The rapid development of nanotechnologies in recent years has increasingly raised questions about their safety. An undoubtedly positive significance, there can also be negative effects on health man and the environment. The paper acquaints with the current state in this area and draws attention to the need to harmonize risk assessment procedures and ensure the safety of nanomaterials throughout them life cycle.
