Original Abstract

The work is focused on the study of some chemical processes taking place in water solutions treated by the diaphragm discharge. This contribution describes the first results of the degradation of chosen organic dyes by the discharge. The dependencies of hydrogen peroxide production on applied high voltage (magnitude and polarity), material of electrodes and initial solution conductivity are studied for one electrolyte (NaCl). The relation between the species production and dyes degradation is discussed.
