Original Abstract

The dead time estimation problem is analyzed. The usage of generalized Laguerre functions on dead time estimation is studied. The free parameters for optimal approximation with generalized Laguerre functions are computed in time space. The better quality dead time estimation is achieved with generalized Laguerre functions than with simple Laguerre functions.
