Abstract

Diagnostics module was created in LabVIEW environment and is dedicated for control of HW modules Compact RIO from National Instruments company. As a whole, it ensures communication through the digital industrial communication bus EtherCAT for the vibrodiagnostics data collection from smart sensors and its evaluation and also serves for the communication with the master unit. System is capable to read the data messages configuration from the master unit, where it is usually defined, and adapt the format of the messages to fit into the overall system architecture. Slave unit has been tested in the complete EtherCAT hierarchy together with the master unit, smart sensors and inverter for electrical drive control.
