Original Abstract

The article describes the problem of pneumatic valves. The classical solutions are usually based on electromagnetic principle. The used valves are quick, reliable and in some cases can be clasiffied as a smart. There are also some disadvantages like weight, dimensions, noise etc. In this article is described a different approach how to solve a mentioned problem. The new pneumatic valve based on shape memory alloy has been designed. This new valve was designed for use in pneumatic muscles McKibben´s type. There are also the results of some experiments which have been made with this valve.
