Výměník je tvořen jednou řadou dutých polymerních vláken (1), která jsou na konci propojena vrstvou ztuhlé zalévací hmoty ponechávající dutiny vláken otevřené. Přitom zalévací hmota tvoří trubkovitou sběrnou komoru (2) výměníku. Výměník se zhotoví tak, že konce dutých vláken (1) uspořádaných s rozestupy do řady se zasunou do dutiny dvoudílné podélné formy (4) odpovídající vnějšímu tvaru vytvářené formy (2), přičemž forma je ve vkládací spáře (5) mezi polovinami formy (4) opatřena měkkou těsnící lištou (6), načež po uzavření formy (4) se dutina formy (4) alespoň zčásti zaplní zalévací hmotou (7) a po jejím ztuhnutí a případném vyjmutí z formy (4) se konce vláken (1) uvolní řezným nástrojem (10) odpovídajícím svým tvarem vnitřnímu prostoru vytvářené komory (2).

The exchanger consists of one row of polymeric hollow fibres (1) which are connected at the end by a layer of solidified potting material leaving the fibre’s inlets and outlets open. The potting material forms a tubular collecting chamber (2) of the exchanger. The exchanger is made so that the ends of the hollow fibres (1) are arranged and spaced in a row and followingly inserted into the cavity of the two-part longitudinal mould (4) corresponding to the outer shape of the mould (2) while the form is in the insertion gap (5) between two parts of the mould (4) provided with a soft sealing strip (6), after the mould (4) is closed, the cavity of the mould (4) is filled at least partially with potting material (7) and after its solidification and eventual removal from the mould (4) the inlets and outlets of the fibres (1) are unblocked by the cutting tool (10) with respect to the shape of the inner shape of the collecting chamber (2)
