Original Abstract
We present an algorithm for a conic fitting based on a gener-alization of planar version of conformal geometric algebra to geometricalgebra for conics (GAC). We introduce a novel normalization condi-tion that follows naturally from this setting and which is invariant withrespect to rotations and scaling. Finally, we provide a comparison tostandard methods demonstrated on examples in MATLAB.
