Original Abstract

Nowadays the wireless localization of people or other subjects within buildings is a current topic. This article presents a complete system for collecting, processing and presenting localization data within buildings or open spaces. The system is based on applications and services that can be run either on a dedicated Microsoft Serves OS or on the MS Azure platform. The location data are obtained from a network of wireless devices deployed according to certain rules in the zone of interest.
