Zařízení je určeno pro kondicionování zkušebních vzorků na náhlé teplotní změny. Vzorky jsou prostřednictví tepelného zdroje, např. infrazářičem, zahřívány na požadovanou teplotu a následně jsou ochlazeny ve vodní lázni. Tento cyklus je možné opakovat v libovolném množství. Zařízení nepotřebuje žádnou elektrickou energii, ovládání je zcela manuální. Teplotu vodní lázně je možné udržovat konstantní, a to její výměnou či vložením chladící vložky.

The device is designed to condition test specimens for sudden temperature changes. The samples are heated to the desired temperature by means of a heat source, such as an infrared heater, and are then cooled in a water bath. This cycle can be repeated in any quantity. The device does not need any electrical power, the control is entirely manual. The temperature of the water bath can be kept constant by replacing or inserting the coolant.
