Vynález se týká UV filtru na bázi polyhydroxybutyrátu, který obsahuje částice z polyhydroxybutyrátu o velikosti 0,2 až 500 µm, které jsou funkcionalizované alespoň jedním organickým UV filtrem přírodního původu v celkové koncentraci 2 až 10 %. Vynález se dále týká také přípravy tohoto UV filtru.
