Original Abstract

This paper describes a current source controlled by an AVR 8-bit microcontroller. Full circuit schematic is provided. The paper contains results of important static (linearity and output current clarity) and dynamic (distortion of a harmonic signal and transient response) measurements. The main advantages of the proposed solution are austerity, low cost and flexibility of output current ranges.
