Original Abstract

Human influencing the environment is getting stronger. It is a consequence of the growing number of mankind, which produces more and more products through its activities and produces more and more waste. These wastes, whether in the form of mass, gas or other substance, cause some changes in the Earth's balance and thus affect the environment. Electronics is an area that is already presented in almost all sectors of our lives and therefore its impact on the environment must not be neglected. That is why education in this area needs to be activated. One option is the training of designers, engineers and managers to support the market for products that meet environmental protection requirements. This paper highlights some aspects related to environmentally friendly products in the electronics sector, whether in terms of design, operation or disposal, through the Eco-labeling. There are discussed some advantages, but also some pitfalls from the point of view of Eco-label marking in the electrical engineering area.
