Original Abstract

Autorské dílo historika architektury a vysokoškolského pedagoga Martina Horáčka představuje ucelený pohled na tradicionalistickou architekturu. Vychází z konceptu sjednocené teorie architektury Nikose A. Salingarose, jehož optikou nahlíží dějiny domácí a světové architektury od konce 19. století do současnosti. V pěti dílech, bohatě doplněných ilustracemi, nalezneme mnoho příkladů tradicionalistických staveb, s množstvím odkazů na další zdroje.

English abstract

The author's work by architectural historian Martin Horáček presents a comprehensive view of traditional architecture. It is based on the concept of a unified theory of architecture by Nikos A. Salingaros, and employed this view in historiography of Czech and world architecture from the late 19th century to the present. In five parts, richly illustrated, we find many examples of traditionalist buildings, with many references to other sources.
