Abstract

Original Abstract

Prostate cancer (PCa) is the most common solid neoplasm worldwide. Sarcosine, an intermediate and byproduct in glycine metabolism, represents a potential urinary biomarker exploitable for early PCa diagnosis. Concentration of sarcosine is substantially increased during PCa progression to its metastasis.
