Abstract

This software was developed for a linear lumped-element circuit model calculation of a two-terminal measured impedance frequency characteristic. The linear lumped element model is extracted by an improved element-by-element extraction method. This extraction method is extended to series and shunt resistors extractions. The extracted circuit model from measured two-terminal impedance characteristic can be used for a printed circuit board (PCB) modeling and for more accurate electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) simulations of integrated circuits including external passive networks.
