Original Abstract

The study was focused on the influence of electrode composition from the point of view of used binders and conductive additives and methods of their preparation on the electrochemical properties of Li-S accumulators. The effect of added carbons, binders and the method of the preparing sulphur-carbon based composites on the cycling of the Li-S battery was demonstrated. Similarly, the effect of the selected allotrope of the sulfur on the resulting electrochemical properties of the Li-S accumulator was demonstrated. The result of the modifications was to extend the cycle life up to 350 cycles with capacity drop under 10 %.
