Original Abstract

The combination of fundamental and applied sciences expandsbordersofstudyof biological objectsandtheirmetabolic processes. The main activities ofenvironmental biotechnologyinvolvewide rangeof measures aimed to protecting the environment. The priority tasks ofenvironmental biotechnologyare: the development of new technologiesto improve the natural environment; saving of the resources; decreasing of pollutionby industrial, agriculturalandhousehold waste by taking into account possibilities of theenvironmentallysafe utilization.
