Original Abstract

V současné době se opěrné a okrasné zdi z gabionů používají poměrně často. Je to možné přisoudit jednoduchosti jejich použití, příznivou cenou i jejich atraktivnímu vzhledu. Je ovšem nezbytné každou instalaci podobné stěny posoudit staticky a současně přísně dodržovat pravidla jejich výrobce. Tato základní pravidla jsou všeobecně známá a dostupná. Přitom je možné se setkat s jejich nedodržováním, což následně vede k deformacím stěn a k jejich poruchám. Opravy jsou přitom obtížné, v krajním případě je nutné stěnu rozebrat a postavit znovu.

English abstract

Recently the retaining and decorative walls made of the gabions are used frequently. It can be attributed to their ease usage, favourable price and their attractive appearance. It is essential to every installation of similar walls should be statically checked and simultaneously strictly keep the basic rules of the manufacturer. These basic rules are widely known and accessible. However it is possible to meet with their failure, leading to deformation of the walls and their disorders. While repairs are difficult, and in extreme cases it is necessary to dismantle the wall and rebuild them.
