Original Abstract

Cooling characteristics of various cooling headers were measured for strip cooling. Present strip cooling (see Fig. 1) and possible cooling configurations were studied. For upper cooling laminar nozzles Ø17 mm and three types of flat jet nozzles (SS15200, SS25150, and SS2550) were studied. For bottom cooling laminar nozzles Ø7 mm, full cone nozzles SSCO 0.14-27-45, and extra thick flat jet nozzles XT8050 were studied.
