Original Abstract

Measurement of partial discharge (PD) presence in high power transformer is key diagnostic method for state determination of the insulating system. One of the most advantageous methods for detection of the PD presence is UHF method. This method and in house designed system is based on detection of very weak radiofrequency signals in range 80 MHz - 1 GHz. System function test is based on detection and evaluation of known PD similar signal. This article is focused on design of testing signal source for signal injection into the high power oil transformer.
