Original Abstract

The trend at the moment is for using high-performance small scale powertrains in vehicles where low consumption and low exhaust gas emissions are combined. However, at the same time there is a pressure to expand the use of alternative fuel such as compressed natural gas (CNG). The paper deals with the analysis of options to increase effective power of engines converted from the existing petrol engines.
