Jedná se o chladící systém pro tomografické měření velkých dílu, až do délku 30 cm při velmi níckých teplotách (typicky -40°C požadovánou automobilovým průmyslem). Zařízení umožňuje dosáhnout teplotní stabilitu vzorku potřebnou pro měření rentgenovou počítačovou tomografií (CT) a zaroveň respektuje teplotní autonomitu standardní laboratorní CT stanice. Zařízení k chlazení zkokumaného dílu využívá pasivní chlazení založené na fázové změně materiálu.

This is a cooling system for CT imaging of parts with length up to 30 cm in the extreme temperature conditions (-40 °C, which is based on automotive industry requests). The equipment allows to achieve temperature stability of samples at low temperatures, while keeping a temperature autonomy of CT system. The presented system uses a passive cooling based on phase-change material.
