Original Abstract

A thermal model is one of the most important calculations during the designing of an electrical apparatuses. The well designed electrical apparatus must pass through several tests before it is placed to the market. One of these tests is temperature rise test. A paper is focused on the analysis of heating of electrical apparatus. Document contains complete practical calculation of thermal model of disconnector. The main part of work is the temperature rise test of disconnector. In the paper there are also discussed possible causes of deviations between calculated and measured values.
