Original Abstract

Acoustic emission method is a non-destructive testing method ranking in the non traditional measuring method group. It outputs data providing information on material properties. Microscopically inhomogeneous materials are frequently used in the building industry. Unfortunately, the acoustic emission results and their characterization on the basis of this method are not unambiguous.
