Original Abstract
Locator/Id Separation Protocol is alternative routingparadigm, which tries to solve limitations (cumbersome supportof mobility, multihoming, inbound traffic engineering, renumbering and rapid growth of default-free zone routingtables) of traditional TCP/IP routing model. The presentedwork deals with a map-cache synchronization and mergedRLOC probing, which are outlined and evaluated as possiblesolutions improving performance and reducing the overhead ofLISP. The proposed extension is evaluated using simulationmodel built for OMNet++ tool.
