Original Abstract

Heat treatment is increasingly used in heavy industry. Optimal setting in the secondary cooling zone of continuous casting machine leads to the decrease of the cost. Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow Laboratory have developed methodology of heat transfer measurement. Results contain information about temperature dependent heat flux and heat transfer coefficient of the nozzles.
