Abstract

GT45V series turbocharger including variable geometry on an input is designed for a use in commercial vehicle internal combustion engines of displacement 13 liters. The turbocharger contains a compressor wheel of diameter 102 mm, a turbine wheel of diameter 84 mm and an electronic intelligent actuator. The bearing system includes two radial slide bearings separated by a spacer element and 270° wide axial bearing.
