Original Abstract

This contribution deals with problems of implementing of automation components for laboratory education of students in our department. Basic structural element is a programmable logic controller KOYO Direct Logic 06. This controller basically contains 20 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs and these input/output signals could be extended with other modules. In our case is added another module with 4 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs. For communication with other environments is PLC equipped with standard serial port RS232 and also ETHERNET module is added. Students could also acquaint with development program Control Web 5 during the education. With theoretic training they will be able to make wiring of laboratory problem and to program the controller with appropriate visualization.
