Type

Abstract

Original Abstract

The subject of this contribution is the testing of the effect of strain rate on the response of nonlinear material models during compression and tensile loading at higher speeds than that of quasi-static loading. The results gained from numerical simulations during loading at higher speeds are compared with results gained from numerical simulations of quasi-static loading.
