Original Abstract

The analysis of sound pressure level and sound pressure spectrum was done for the modified design of gas regulators. The gas regulator input and output were sealed using the rubber cup. The noise source was tested with free inlet and ducted outlet. The measuring cycle consisted of five opening and closing cycles of the regulator with one second pauses. The whole measurement cycle lasted 80 seconds.
