The main aim of this work is to establish a laboratory breeding of the named organism Helix aspersa aspersa and to describe it's possibilities for ecotoxicity assessement. A special emphasis was placed on a possibillity of using it's different life stages, which are: eggs, newly hatched snails, juveniles, adults.
