Original Abstract

Popílek obsahuje částice kulového tvaru, označované jako cenosféry. Cenosféry (FAC – Fly Ash Cenospheres) mají nízkou objemovou hmotnost, nízkou nasákavost a nízkou teplenou vodivost. Cenosféry mají obvykle vysoký obsah mullitu a díky jejich chemickému složení a mechanickým vlastnostem jsou využívány zejména ve výrobě cementových kompozitů.

English abstract

Fly-ash contains particles of spherical shape called Fly Ash Cenospheres (FAC). Cenospheres have low density, low water absorption and low thermal conductivity. Cenospheres usually have high mullite content and due to their chemical and mechanical properties have been used especially for production of cementitious composites.
