Original Abstract

Sensors were fabricated by screen-printing onto alumina substrates. The commercial WO3 nanopowder was mixed with Pt, Au or Ag powder using an organic binder. The concentrations of noble metal were changed in the range of 0.34-2.90 wt.%, 0.57-1.67 wt% and 0.33-2.98 wt.%, respectively for platinum, gold and silver. The gas sensing properties of the sensors to nitrogen dioxide and carbon monoxide were investigated using a temperature and moisture controlled test chamber.
