Funkční vzorek pomohl hledání optimálního tvaru skořepinové konstrukce dvojí křivosti, kterou Heinz Isler úspěšně použil pro zastřešení řady tenisových hal a bazénů. Pro nalezení tvaru byl využit komerčně dostupný program umožňujících geometricky nelineární analýzu konstrukcí. Správnost řešení byla ověřena nejen analyticky, ale také na modelu postaveném v měřítku 1:56. Model byl vytvořen technologii 3d tisku.

This functional sample deals with the search for the optimal shape of the shell structure of double curvature, which Heinz Isler successfully used for roofing many tennis halls and swimming pools. For the shape finding a commercially available program allowing geometrically nonlinear analysis of structures was used. The correctness of the solution was verified not only analytically, but also on the model built in the scale 1:56. The model was created by a modern technology of 3D printing.
