Počítačová terapie jako koncept nové formy terapie pro osoby s mentálním postižením: teorie i praxe

In this paper we present study and current state ofresearch - the design and creation of new therapy for intellectual disabledpeople, called computer therapy. The goal is to apply resources of IT properlyin synthesis with methods of special education, social care and informatics(informatics education), to create unified concept of therapy, which is easilyaccessible, long termed, applicable in natural environment of people withintellectual disability. Thus we finally compensate or decrease the impact ofintellectual disability in lives of these people. To do so, we come fromunsatisfactory state of last years following the success of touch devicesachieved in special pedagogy.  Hence thistherapy demands to cover this issues in whole life cycle, starting from mostlyinformatics area - the development of specific application through itsdeployment on suitable device to use it practise by intellectual disabledpeople by covering their individual, specific needs. In this application phaseof computer therapy life cycle, there is more contribution from area of specialeducation and social care. Such unified process is presented in designedconcept of computer therapy, which is subsequently verified.
