Original Abstract

Cold spray is a novel coating deposition method with extended range of possibilities for industrial applications. Due to its low-temperature character, it has many advantages and a high potential to replace the high-temperature thermal spray processes like HVOF and plasma spraying. The presented work analyzes the microstructure and phase composition of selected metal coatings deposited by cold spraying and evaluates their mechanical properties.
